history

The village was first mentioned in documents in 1321, when the owner of the Třebová estate , Boreš III, gave the place to his friend Tyl von Cigenfus . Boreš successors bought the village back and assigned it to the hospital in Třebová. In 1350 the village was divided, the old town street was separated. In 1440 the village was parish after the old town . Dittersdorf remained part of the Moravian Trübau rule until the patrimonial rule was abolished. From 1850 the village belonged to the Moravská Třebová district. At the end of the 19th century, Dittersdorf was used as a Czech place name in addition to Dětřichov and Mostečná. In 1930 there were 429 people living in Dittersdorf.

After the Munich Agreement , the village, which was almost exclusively inhabited by Germans, was added to the German Empire. Between 1939 and 1945 Dittersdorf was part of the Mährisch Trübau district . During the Nazi era, a concentration camp for pregnant women was set up near Dittersbach . The prisoners from Poland, Russia and Ukraine had to work in agriculture. In 1955 a national monument was erected at the location of the camp.

After the dissolution of the Okres Moravská Třebová Dětřichov came to the Okres Svitavy at the beginning of 1961. On January 1, 1976, it was incorporated into Staré Město, and Dětřichov u Moravské Třebové has existed again since September 1, 1990.
