The Cha ( Х and х ) is a letter in the Cyrillic alphabet . In the Russian alphabet it is the twenty-third letter, in the Serbian alphabet the twenty-sixth letter, it comes from the Greek letter Chi . The pronunciation is [x] or [h] .

There is no Cyrillic letter that corresponds to the Latin X. The Latin X is represented in Cyrillic by the letter combination К с / кс , i.e. Latin ks , or voiced Г з / гз (or Кз / кз ), Latin gs / gz or ks / kz . There used to be the letter Ѯ .
