Ԛ
The Ԛ (lower case ԛ) is a Cyrillic letter. It was taken directly from the Latin alphabet and in most cases also looks exactly like its Latin counterpart, but in some cases a version is also used in which both upper and lower case letters are visually based on the lowercase q.
In the Kurdish alphabet was the Ԛ the penultimate letter of the alphabet and stood for the voiceless uvular plosive / q / . It corresponded to the Q in the Latin alphabet and the ق in the Arabic alphabet. Since the Cyrillic alphabet is no longer used for Kurdish, the letter is no longer in use.
In an early Abkhaz alphabet from 1925, the letter was also in use and stood for the same sound as the Kurdish letter. In today's alphabet, this sound is represented by the letter Ҟ .
