The Ң (lower case ң) is an additional letter of the Cyrillic alphabet that does not exist in Russian. It consists of a Н with a smear at the bottom right.

It is for the Ng sound uses (IPA: ŋ ) and is mainly engaged in alphabets of Turkic , like the Kyrgyz , the Tuvan , Kazakh , Tatar or Bashkir to find, but also in other languages, such as the Dungan or Kalmyk is the letter used.

According to ISO 9 , the letter is transliterated with Ņ , Ñ and Ň are also used .
