Ѱ
Ѱѱ
The Ѱ ( lower case ѱ ) is a letter of the early Cyrillic alphabet and the Church Slavonic alphabet.
With the introduction of the Cyrillic alphabet, the psi of the Greek alphabet with the same sound value ( ps ) was adopted to write Greek foreign words. As in the Greek alphabet, the letter has a numerical value of 700 in the Cyrillic number system . Peter I abolished the letter in the reform of the civil script in 1708 along with other Greek letters.
