The  Saarland Amateur Football League 1970/71  was the 20th season of the Saarland Amateur League , the predecessor of the Saarland Association League . This league represented the substructure of the Regionalliga Südwest until 1974 and was thus third-class in the overall league hierarchy.

Saarland champion was the SV Fraulautern , but had no success in the Regionalliga promotion round and remained in the league. The SV St. Ingbert , the SV Gersweiler that Sportfreunde Köllerbach and FV 07 Diefflen had to dismount after this season in the district league. For the following season 1971/72 the ASV Kleinottweiler and the SV Auersmacher came as promoted from the district league, as well as the two relegated Saar 05 Saarbrücken and VfB Theley from the regional league southwest.
