Ares is a Spanish municipality in the autonomous community of Galicia . Ares is also a city, a parroquia and the administrative seat of the municipality of the same name. The 5732 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) live on an area of 18.31 km ² , 54 km from the provincial capital A Coruña .
