A Pobra do Caramiñal ( Spanish Puebla del Caramiñal ) is a municipality ( municipality ) in the autonomous community of Galicia in the province of A Coruña , in northern Spain . The 9,338 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) live in an area of 32.51 km 2 , 130 kilometers from the government capital A Coruña .
history
The remains of dolmen near the village of Colo de Arca are evidence of the settlement in prehistoric times. Remains of the connecting road Per Loca Marítima , which connected the cities of Boiro and Porto , among other things, date back to the time of Roman settlement .
