Location of the municipality

Melide is a place in the Spanish region of Galicia . It is located on the Camino de Santiago in the province of A Coruña and is the geographical center of Galicia. The Camino Primitivo joins the Camino Francés in Melide .

The place is famous for many pilgrims of St. James for a popular restaurant, the Pulpería Ezequiel. The main course there is pulpo á feira , which is eaten with bread and feather whites .
