Ferreiros is a small town on the Way of St. James in the province of Lugo in the autonomous community of Galicia in northwestern Spain . He is administratively dependent on Paradela .
In 2015 the place had 116 inhabitants.
The place name contains the Galician variant of the word blacksmith, so that the place was probably named after one (or more) blacksmiths based here. The most important and at the same time only attraction of the place is the church Santa María de Ferreiros, which was demolished in 1790 and rebuilt at the cemetery, the current location. The church was built in the 12th century in the Romanesque style . In front of the church there is a baptismal font in which representations of people and symbols are incorporated.
