The Erro Pass , Spanish Puerto de Erro (801 msnm ), is a mountain crossing for the regional road N-135 and the Camino de Santiago near Erro ( town and river ) in the autonomous community of Navarre .
At the Erro Pass there is a panoramic view - the Pyrenees to the northeast and Pamplona to the southwest - a stone slab measuring over two meters, which is intended to illustrate the stride length of the French hero Roland .
Behind the pass in the direction of Pamplona is a building used as a cowshed, which was once an inn for pilgrims and other travelers as Venta del Puerto or Venta del Caminante .
