Location of the municipality

Erro ( Basque Erroibar ) is a municipality in the Comunidad Foral de Navarra . It belongs to the Comarca de Auñamendi and the Merindad de Sangüesa. The municipality has (January 1, 2019) 800 inhabitants.

Erro is the central place of the Valle de Erro between Roncesvalles and Pamplona , borders the Pyrenees main ridge and the border with France and lies on the Camino Francés and the Erro Pass .
