Valdelafuente is a place on the Camino de Santiago in the province of León in the autonomous community of Castile and León , administratively it is dependent on Valdefresno .
At Valdelafuente is the Alto del Portillo hill from which León can be seen. A stone cross used to stand here, which was moved to Plaza San Marcos in León and supplemented with the figure of an exhausted pilgrim.
