Zariquiegui ( Basque Zarikiegi ) is a small town on the Camino de Santiago French Way , in the autonomous community of Navarra , administratively it belongs to the municipality cizur .
The place is on the edge of the Sierra del Perdón mountain range , which the Camino de Santiago passes on the Alto del Perdón . The late Romanesque parish church of San Andrés was built in the 13th century. It consists of a nave with a cross vault and a square tower. Outside it is characterized by a portal, the tympanum of which is adorned with a large chrismon . The capitals are decorated with vegetal motifs. Inside there is a romantic altarpiece from the first half of the 17th century.
The patronage festival is celebrated on the penultimate weekend in June.
