Trabadelo is a municipality with 357 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the Spanish comarca El Bierzo in the west of the province of León . The associated district has an area of 68 km². The place is 560 meters above sea level on the Valcarce river in the Sierra de Ancares .
The main route of the Camino de Santiago , the Camino Francés , crosses Trabadelo on the ascent to the Puerto de Pedrafita (1109 m) pass, about 15 km northwest , where it then leaves the autonomous community of Castile-León and reaches Galicia .
