Argao is a 2nd income class Filipino township in the province of Cebu . It has 72,366 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census).

The community is located on the east coast of the island of Cebu , approx. 67 south of Cebu City and can be reached via the coastal highway. Its coast is on the Strait of Cebu , opposite Bohol Island . Your neighboring communities are Sibonga in the north and Dalaguete in the south. The municipalities of Dumanjug , Ronda , Alcantara , Moalboal and Badian border Argao to the west. The municipality's coastline is 18 kilometers long.
