Malabuyoc is a Filipino municipality in the province of Cebu . It has 19,373 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census).
The community is located in the southwest of the island of Cebu , approx. 126 km from Cebu City and can be reached via the coastal road via Toledo City . Their neighboring communities are Alegria in the north, Ginatilan in the south, Alcoy , Boljoon and Oslob in the east. To the west is the island of Negros , separated from Malabuyoc by the Tanon Strait .
