Dalaguete is a Filipino municipality in the province of Cebu . It has 67,497 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census).
The community is located in the south of the island of Cebu , approx. 85 km south of Cebu City and can be reached via the coastal expressway. Your neighboring communities are Argao in the north, Alcoy in the south, Badian and Alegria in the west. To the east is Bohol Island , separated from the municipality by the Strait of Cebu . The topography of the municipality is described as mountainous except for the narrow coastal strip, with deep valleys and large plateaus . Osmeña Peak , the highest mountain on the island of Cebu at 1,013 meters above sea level, lies on the territory of the municipality .
