Astrid Karuna Feuser
Astrid Karuna Feuser (* 1951 in Düsseldorf ) is a German artist .
biography
After graduating from high school, Feuser studied art , philosophy and education at the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 1970 to 1977 , as a master class student from 1975 . She received scholarships from the Ernst Poensgen Foundation and the Rijkscentrum Frans Masereel in Belgium and together with Bernd Finkeldei , Rissa , Udo Scheel and Norbert Tadeusz, she founded the Axiom painter group (1977–1980). Feuser worked in school until 1986, which she resigned due to a crisis experience in order to only work as a freelance artist. In 1986 she received the Art Prize of the Artists at the Great Art Exhibition NRW in Düsseldorf . In 1987 she received a scholarship from the Günther Peill Foundation and in 1989 a travel grant from the city of Düsseldorf to Ein Hod in Israel . In 1996 and 1997 she was trained as a Reiki master and teacher. In 2007 Feuser was awarded the 3rd Von Taube Prize for artist books in the moated castle Klaffenbach of the city of Chemnitz .
Astrid Karuna Feuser lives in Haldern on the Lower Rhine .
