Axel Gottschick
Axel Gottschick (* 1953 in Göttingen ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .
life and work
Axel Gottschick studied English and politics in Trier, Berlin and New Brunswick and passed the first state examination. From 1984 to 1987 he took acting lessons and attended seminars with Zygmont Molik, Dominik de Fazio and Geraldine Baron. He passed his stage maturity examination in front of the Joint Stage Commission in Karlsruhe.
In 1986 Gottschick made his stage debut at the theater in Heilbronn as Matti in Mr. Puntila and his servant Matti by Bertolt Brecht . He also made guest appearances at the Theater an der Ruhr , at the theaters in Erlangen , Augsburg , Bielefeld and Gießen , at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen , at the Cologne theaters Tiefrot and Bauturm as well as the Freie Schauspiel Ensemble Frankfurt . Among other roles, he was Peachum in the Threepenny Opera , Leonce in Leonce and Lena by Georg Büchner , played Adolf Eichmann in Brother Eichmann by Heinar Kipphardt , was Polonius in Hamlet and Lord Shrewsbury in Maria Stuart . For the production of Leonce and Lena , the Theater Augsburg was awarded the ensemble prize of the Bavarian Theater Days in 1997 .
Axel Gottschick was seen on television for the first time in 1993 in two episodes of the Stadtklinik series . Since then he has been regularly present on the screen to this day, playing episode roles in series such as Bella Block , Die Camper , Wilsberg , Ein Fall für Zwei or Danni Lowinski . In the crime series In the Name of the Law he acted as a judge in three episodes and in the soap opera Verbotene Liebe he played the character of Alfred Kramer in 29 episodes from 1996 to 1998 and was there again in 2003 in four episodes in the role of a public prosecutor .
Axel Gottschick has also worked extensively in radio play production since 1993 and has participated in a large number of radio plays, mainly produced by WDR . Gottschick, who has been working as a freelancer since 1996, read in two audio books with Die Heldin and The Daughter . He is also a speaker for the Perry Rhodan Neo audio book series . He also works as a voiceover and commentary in documentaries.
According to his agency, Axel Gottschick is an excellent ballroom dancer as a former tournament dancer and dance teacher. The reserve lieutenant speaks the Harz dialect, among other dialects and accents, and lives in Cologne.
