Bartosz Białek (born November 11, 2001 in Brzeg ) is a Polish football player . The striker is under contract with VfL Wolfsburg in Germany and is a young international player.
Career
society
Białek played in the youth teams of the local club Stal Brzeg until 2011 , before moving to MKS Oława . At the age of 13 Białek was accepted into the youth academy of Zagłębie Lubin and trained from then on. As a B-Junior, the attacker played for the second men's team in Lubins for the first time at the end of the 2017/18 season and stood on the field for half an hour. In his last year in the club's A youth, Białek played more often for the reserve in the 4th division and was also able to score his first goals. Parallel to his involvement in the second team, the striker was also integrated into the professional team in November 2019 under head coach Martin Sevela . He was then a regular in the storm center, scored nine goals (his first on his debut) and was the third most successful goalscorer of the team behind experienced forces like Damjan Bohar or Saša Živec . Furthermore, Białek came on four assists, but had to play with the team on the relegation round to stay relegated.
In August 2020, the Pole moved to the German Bundesliga for VfL Wolfsburg , where he received a contract valid until June 2024. The wolves had previously let the young attackers Mamoudou Karamoko and Ismail Azzaoui go and, due to the participation in three competitions, needed another representative for the established forces Wout Weghorst and Daniel Ginczek .
National team
Białek played in three friendly matches of the Polish U17 team in August 2017 . In 2019 he played two games for the U18 national team . With the U19 he failed in the group stage of qualifying for the U19 European Championship 2020 .
