architecture
House no. 29 was entered together with house no. 31 for the first time in 1870 with a supplementary card for the cadastral parent roll (archive of the cadastral office). A rear extension at no. 31 ends at an alignment that was taken over for a wash house that was entered in a continuation plan from March 8, 1888 . Together with wall sections that connect the wash house and extension on the one hand (gate opening) and wash house and street alignment (a gate is between this point and the left, front corner of the building at No. 29). This creates an enclosed courtyard property. This is unique in this street. No. 29 (three-axis) and No. 31 (four-axis) are typical Rhenish single-family houses . The plastered facade emphasizes a horizontal structure that is uniform for both buildings through rich cornice zones .
As one of the oldest building complexes on this street, which documents the first construction phase there, numbers 29 and 31 are worth preserving for reasons of urban development, settlement, location and architectural history.
