Goslar constituency

The Goslar constituency was a constituency in Lower Saxony from 1980 to 2002 . It included the district of Goslar as well as the district of Osterode am Harz the communities of Bad Lauterberg , Bad Sachsa , Walkenried , Wieda and Zorge . Predecessor constituencies with similar territory were the constituency of Goslar - Wolfenbüttel from 1965 to 1980 and the constituency of Harz from 1949 to 1965 .

After the electoral district of Goslar was dissolved, its area was divided into the electoral districts of Goslar - Northeim - Osterode and Salzgitter - Wolfenbüttel for the 2002 federal election . The constituency was last won by Peter Eckardt ( SPD ).
