- the independent city of Schwerin
- from the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, the cities of Boizenburg / Elbe , Hagenow , Ludwigslust and Lübenheen as well as the offices of Boizenburg-Land , Dömitz-Malliss , Grabow , Hagenow-Land , Ludwigslust-Land , Neustadt-Glewe , Stralendorf , Wittenburg and Zarrentin
- from the district of Northwest Mecklenburg the offices of Gadebusch , Lützow-Lübstorf , Rehna and Schönberger Land .
The constituency was redesigned in this form as the successor to the former constituency 13 Schwerin - Ludwigslust for the 2013 federal election .

The constituency 13 Schwerin - Ludwigslust was newly formed in the course of the reorganization of the constituencies in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania before the federal election in 2002 from parts of the constituencies Schwerin - Hagenow and Güstrow - Sternberg - Lübz - Parchim - Ludwigslust and included the independent city of Schwerin as well the former Ludwigslust district . For the 2013 federal election , this constituency was enlarged to include the south-western part of the north-west Mecklenburg district. In addition, the number and name of the constituency in were Ludwigslust-Parchim I - - 12 Schwerin Nordwestmecklenburg I changed.
