Cacc'e mitte di Lucera
Cacc'e mmitte di Lucera is a red wine from the southern Italian province of Foggia in the Apulia region . The unusual dialect name “Cacc'e mmitte” translates as something like “Drink up and pour again”. The wines have had a "controlled designation of origin " ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) since 1975 , which was last updated on March 7, 2014.
Growing area
Cultivation is permitted within the province of Foggia in the municipalities of Lucera , Troia and Biccari .

- 35–60% Uva di Troia , which is also called “Sumarello” here
- 25–35% Montepulciano , Sangiovese , Malvasia Nera di Brindisi - individually or together
