The Rosso di Cerignola DOC is a dry southern Italian red wine from the municipality of Cerignola in the province of Foggia in the Apulia region . The wine has had a "controlled designation of origin " (Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC ) since June 26, 1974 , which was last updated on March 7, 2014. With the correction of the regulations in 2013, the former denomination " Rosso Canosa " was absorbed into this denomination.
