The Cadre 45/2 World Championship in 1937 was the 30th World Championship, which was held until 1947 in Cadre 45/2 and from 1948 in Cadre 47/2. The tournament took place in Groningen from March 18-21, 1937 . It was the second Cadre 45/2 World Championship in Groningen after 1934.

The new and old world champion in Cadre 45/2 is René Gabriëls . He improved the world record set by Albert Poensgen in Cologne in 1933 in the general average over a tournament (GD) significantly from 28.59 to 35.59 , the tournament highest series with 216 played the Berlin Walter Joachim .
Tournament mode
It was played in the round robin system up to 400 points. In the event of a tie in MPs (except in the event of a tie for the winner), the following order will be used:
