The Canon EOS 750D (in North America EOS Rebel T6i , in Japan EOS Kiss X8i ) and EOS 760D (in North America EOS Rebel T6s , in Japan EOS 8000D ) are digital SLR cameras of the EOS series from the Japanese manufacturer Canon and have been on the market since June 2015 .
technical features
The cameras are similar in terms of the essential internal technical details (measuring system, processor, sensor, etc.): Both can record up to five images per second, use a 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor, and use a Digic 6 as the main processor and make use of the flicker compensation introduced for the first time with the 7D Mark II , which enables uniformly exposed series images with periodically pulsed fluorescent tube light. You can save Raw and JPG at the same time in the native resolution of 6000 × 4000 pixels; alternatively, JPGs with the aspect ratios 3: 2, 4: 3, 16: 9 and 1: 1 can be saved in several resolution settings.
The cameras have WLAN with near-field communication , via which, for example, wireless printing from the camera to a suitably equipped printer is possible, or remote control via tablet or smartphone.
The cameras both have a freely rotatable rear display with touch function. They record video at up to 1080 / 30p.
differences
Model variant EOS 750D
The model 750D has a rear display that is used to show the currently set values for exposure time, aperture, ISO number, etc. In addition to the display, there is a control pad consisting of individual keys. The camera does not have a "shoulder display".
Model variant EOS 760D
The 760D model has an additional "shoulder display " and a rear selection dial as well as an electronic spirit level displayed in the viewfinder. In contrast to the 750D, the camera uses servo autofocus, which means that one-shot AF and servo AF can also be selected for videos.

Individual evidence
- ↑ Canon (among other manufacturers) counts the subpixels of each pixel, i.e. H. the red, green and blue channel of each pixel individually, and therefore specifies the rear display with 345,600 [pixels] × 3 [colors] = 1,036,800 or approx. 1,040,000 pixels.
