Chance the Rapper (* 16 April 1993 in Chicago as Chancelor Bennett ) is an American rapper .
biography
Bennett was born in Chicago in 1993. His younger brother, Taylor Bennett is also a rapper. Bennett is married.
Career
He gained fame in the US scene with his two mixtapes 10 Day (2012) and Acid Rap (2013), which he offered on the Datpiff.com website and which achieved high download numbers . As a guest rapper on Justin Bieber's single Confident , he hit the international music charts in 2013. He raps on the single Coast Is Clear on Skrillex's debut album Recess . In 2016 he collaborated with Kanye West on his album The Life of Pablo .
At the Grammy Awards in 2017 he was appointed as Best New Artist Award, Coloring Book was given the award for best rap album with No Problem , he won with the support of Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz a third Grammy.
On November 1, 2017, the rapper performed at an Obama Foundation event in Chicago.
