The Col de la Joux Verte is a 1760 meter high French alpine pass in the Haute-Savoie department ( Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region ), which connects Morzine with Avoriaz . There are two access routes from Morzine: the shorter one via the D 338, the longer one via the D 228.
The pass has so far been part of the Tour de France program , the first at the top of the pass was Frenchman Robert Alban in 1981 .
