The Col de la Colombière is a mountain pass with a height of 1613  m in the French Alps in the Haute-Savoie department . The continuously paved road connects the Arve valley near Cluses with the Borne valley near Le-Grand-Bornand. From there a road leads over a small ridge to Annecy or over the Col des Aravis to the Arly valley . The traffic-related importance is low, as there are better developed and shorter connections through the valleys for both directions.

On the north side, about halfway up, is the village of Le Reposoir , which is known for its special cheese , Reblochon , which is often used for the regional cheese fondue .

Despite its low absolute height, this pass is special Difficult to drive on the north side, as the height to be overcome and the ten percent steep last kilometer to the top of the pass allow for high-alpine comparisons.
