Desna

Desna ( Ukrainian and Russian Десна ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Vinnytsia Oblast with around 1,300 inhabitants (2014).

Desna is located on the northeastern outskirts of Vinnytsia on the M 12 highway and is the only village in the settlement council of the same name in Vinnytsia district . The place emerged as a workers' settlement for the large bakery in the 1970s, and Desna has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1984.
