The tri-band world championship for women in 2016 was a tournament in Karambolagedisziplin three-band and found from 25 to 27 August at Guri , South Korea instead.

mode

The preliminary round was played in four groups of four players each in round robin mode with 25 points. The first two of the group moved into the final round, where the knockout system played to 30 points. The shot clock was on 40 seconds.

No prize money was paid.

Tournament commentary

In contrast to the men, the women’s World Cup only takes place every two years at even numbers. After various three-cushion world cups , a world championship in this discipline was held in Guri for the first time.
