Eliot Bridge

The Eliot Bridge is an arch bridge in the state of Massachusetts in the United States, completed in 1950 . It runs from the Boston borough of Allston to the city of Cambridge by connecting Soldiers Field Road with Greenough Boulevard and Memorial Drive .

The bridge was named after two people: on the one hand after Charles William Eliot , who was President of Harvard University from 1869 to 1909 , and on the other hand after his son Charles Eliot , who worked as a landscape architect in Boston for a long time .
