Family Four

Family Four was a Swedish hit group from the 1960s to 1970s.

The group was founded in 1964 by the Öst family (Berndt, Inger, Siw and Stig) in Gothenburg . From 1969, however, there was the most successful formation with Berndt Öst, Agnetha Munther, Marie Bergman and Pierre Isacsson. They won the Melodifestivalen in 1971 and 1972 and were therefore allowed to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 1971 with the title Vita vidder and in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 with the piece Härliga sommardag for Sweden. They reached sixth (1971) and thirteenth place (1972). The Family Four group also represented their home country Sweden at the opening ceremony of the 1974 World Cup .
