Flecken is a village in the Pillerseetal , municipality of St. Ulrich am Pillersee in the Kitzbühel district , in the northeast of the state of Tyrol .

geography

The village is halfway between St. Ulrich am Pillersee and Fieberbrunn , after St. Jakob in Haus . It has about 40 buildings about 120 inhabitants.

The place is on the valley watershed of the Pillerseetal, where the Grieslbach (Haselbach, Loferbach) , which comes from the Loferer Steibergen from the east , flows to the north, and the Moosbach to the Fieberbrunner Ache (Pillerseeache) to the southeast.

The valley with the Pillerseestraße L 2 makes a bend north-south to northeast-southwest around the Lehrbergköpfl .

To the site also includes the Kammbergalm ( 1322  m above sea level. A. ) on the Buchensteinwand , stains leads across the alpine pasture, private driveway to the ski area and the Buchensteinwand mountain station at the summit of the mountain. To the northern Vorberg, the Fleckberg ( 1241  m above sea level ) are the Fleckenermähder , a former alpine hay area , today a ski run.

history

Flecken ( Flecken "small place") is mentioned as early as 1377 with eight original farms. It belonged to 1803 the Hofmark Pillersee of the Bavarian monastery Rott (then dissolved) and since pastoral to Archdiocese of Salzburg (archdiocese was dissolved also 1803), and secular it belonged to the whole Habsburg time to Kalcher Werchat , Pillerseer district , district court Kitzbühel , county Unterinntal the County of Tyrol , which was administered by the governor for Upper Austria (Tyrol and the foreland) in the High Middle Ages .
