The women's ice hockey final of the 1987/88 season was the 5th women's final round in Germany, in which the German championship title was awarded, and at the same time the last before the introduction of the women's ice hockey Bundesliga for the 1988/89 season . For the second time since the introduction of the final round for the 1983/84 season , the German champion was not EHC Eisbären Düsseldorf , which reached the finals as in the previous year , but this time lost to the Mannheim ERC team .
