The Potsdam district league 1987/88 was the 36th edition of the Potsdam district league organized by the district technical committee (BFA) football Potsdam . It was the top division in the Potsdam district and the third highest in the league system in the DFV area .
The BSG Stahl Hennigsdorf became district champion and qualified for the promotion round to the superordinate GDR league , in which they secured promotion as the first in season 1.
The second representatives of Motor Babelsberg and Lokomotive Seddin descended into one of the subordinate district class groups. In return, the three first placed in the promotion round of construction Zehdenick, Motor Teltow after a one-year absence and the new district league unit Werder rose to the following season .
