Toschkiwka (Ukrainian Тошківка ; Russian Тошковка / Toschkowka ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine with about 4400 inhabitants.
The place is located in the west of the Luhansk Oblast in Popasna Rajon about 22 kilometers northeast of the Rajons capital Popasna and 58 kilometers northwest of the Oblast capital Luhansk on the south bank of the Bilenka River (Біленька).
Toshkivka was founded in 1871 as a workers' settlement for newly established coal mines, and in 1938 it was granted the status of an urban-type settlement.
Until October 7, 2014 the place was part of the municipality of Pervomaysk , after which it was incorporated into the Popasna Raion .
In 2014, during the war in eastern Ukraine , the separatists attacked the town several times, leaving several dead and injured, and in 2015 the Lenin monument in the town was removed.
