Krasnoritschenske

Krasnoritschenske ( Ukrainian Красноріченське ; Russian Краснореченское Krasnoretschenskoje ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 4,300 inhabitants (2014).

Krasnoritschenske was founded in 1701 under the name Kabanske ( Кабанське ) and in 1957 received the status of an urban-type settlement. Krasnoritschenske is located on the banks of the Krasna , a left tributary of the Siversky Donets in the north of the Kreminna district, 27 km north of the Kreminna district center .

The settlement is the administrative center of the settlement council district of the same to the remaining villages Salyman (Ukrainian Залиман ) with about 340 inhabitants and Ploschtschanka (Ukrainian Площанка include) with about 130 inhabitants.
