Talowe (Ukrainian Талове ; Russian Таловое / Talowoje ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine with about 1,400 inhabitants.

The place in Luhansk Oblast is located on the Talowa River , about 5 kilometers west of the Rajons capital Krasnodon and 37 kilometers southwest of the Oblast capital Luhansk .

Talowe belongs administratively to the urban-type settlement Myrne , these form a joint settlement council.

history

The place was founded in 1815 and finally became an urban-type settlement in 1938.

Since the summer of 2014, the town has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine .
