Tscherwonohwardijske (Ukrainian Червоногвардійське - Ukrainian officially since May 12, 2016 Krynytschanske / Криничанське ; Russian Червоногвардейское / Tscherwonogwardeiskoje ) is an urban-type settlement in the Midwest of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 1400 inhabitants.

Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of the 9 kilometers northwest of Kirovsk and forms a settlement council to which the settlements Krynytschne (Криничне) and Tavrychanske (Тавричанське) belong, the oblast capital Luhansk is 40 kilometers east of the place Railway line to Bryanka and west of the Komyschuwacha River (Комишуваха).

Tscherwonohwardijske in 1948 as a settlement Krynytschanskyj founded (Криничанський) than workers' settlement for the nearby coal mine, then wore from 1953 to 1965 the name Krasnohwardeijsk (Красногвардейськ) and was raised in 1953 urban to the settlement type, since the summer of 2014 is the place during the Ukraine war with separatists the people's Republic of Lugansk occupied.
