Hanniwka (Ukrainian Ганнівка ; Russian Анновка / Annowka ) is an urban-type settlement in the west of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 270 inhabitants.
Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of the town of Brjanka, 9 kilometers northeast, and belongs to the settlement council of Yuzhna Lomuwatka (5 kilometers south), the oblast capital Luhansk is 55 kilometers east of the place, through the place the river Lomuwatka (Ломуватка) flows.
Hannivka was founded in the 18th century (under the name Annenskoje ) and raised to the status of an urban-type settlement in 1965.Since the summer of 2014, the place has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine .
