Verkhniy Naholtschyk (Ukrainian Верхній Нагольчик ; Russian Верхний Нагольчик / Verkhny Nagoltschik ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast with about 1700 inhabitants.

Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of the city of Antrazyt, which is 4 kilometers to the north and forms its own settlement council here, the oblast capital Luhansk is 55 kilometers north of the place, the Naholtschyk river (Нагольчик) flows through the place .

Verkhny Naholtschyk contributed to 1900 the name Ossipenko , this village was built in the second half of the 18th century and was elevated in 1938 to the urban settlement type, since the summer of 2014, the site is in the course of Ukraine war by separatists of the People's Republic of Lugansk occupied.
