Biloritschenskyj (Ukrainian Білоріченський ; Russian Белореченский / Beloretschenski ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 3,400 inhabitants.
The place belongs administratively to the district Lutuhyne , the district center Lutuhyne is located 12 kilometers southeast, the oblast capital Luhansk is located 20 kilometers northeast of the place.
The settlement council of the same name also includes the settlements Komsomolez (Комсомолець; officially since 2016 Kamjanyj Plast / Кам'яний Пласт), Komyschuwacha (Комишуваха), Sbirne (Збірне) and Schymschynка .
Biloritschenskyj was founded in 1951 and received urban-type settlement status in 1957. Since the summer of 2014, the town has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine .
