Jurjiwka (Ukrainian Юр'ївка ; Russian Юрьевка / Jurjewka ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 3,000 inhabitants.
The place belongs administratively to the district Lutuhyne , the district center Lutuhyne is located 20 kilometers southeast, the oblast capital Luhansk is 25 kilometers east of the place, through it runs the river Bila (Біла).
Jurivka was founded in the 1840s, was called Shcheglowka (Щегловка) until the 1970s and was given the status of an urban-type settlement in 1938. Since the summer of 2014, the town has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine .
