Dubiwskyj (Ukrainian Дубівський ; Russian Дубовский / Dubowski ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 4,000 inhabitants.
Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of the city of Antrazyt , which lies 6 kilometers north-west, and forms its own settlement council to which the village Orichowe (Оріхове) also belongs, the oblast capital Luhansk is 59 kilometers north of the place, a railway branch line from Antrazyt ends in the place.
Dubiwskyj was called Hromiwka (Громівка; Russian Gromowka / Громовка) until 1958 , this village was founded at the beginning of the 20th century and was elevated to an urban-type settlement in 1954, since summer 2014 the place has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the Ukraine War.
