Frunze (Ukrainian and Russian Фрунзе - Ukrainian officially since May 12, 2016 Sentjaniwka / Сентянівка ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 3,300 inhabitants.

The place belongs administratively to Rajon Slovianoserbsk that Rajonszentrum Slovianoserbsk is 17 kilometers east area, the Oblasthauptstadt Luhansk is located 41 kilometers southeast of the village.

The village of Datschne (Дачне) also belongs to the settlement council of the same name , and the Luhan River runs through the village .

Frunze was founded in 1930 by the merger of several villages as Tajisivka (Таїсівка), received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1938, at the same time it was renamed to its current name. Between 1949 and 1966 the place was the Rajonszentrum of the Frunze Raion of the same name before it became Slovianoserbsk Raion, since summer 2014 the place has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the Ukraine War.

On February 11, 2015, the village of Scholobok (Жолобок) was detached from the Frunze Settlement Council area and attached to the Popasna district .
