Prywillja

Prywillja ( Ukrainian Привілля ; Russian Приволье Priwolje ) is a city in the north of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 7600 inhabitants (2014).

The village, founded in 1695, has had its current name since 1778. The city is located on the right bank of the Siversky Donets about 120 km northwest of the oblast capital Luhansk . Prywillja was raised to the status of a city in 1963 and administratively belongs to the urban district of the neighboring city of Lysychansk .
