Rodakowe ( Ukrainian Родакове ; Russian Родаково Rodakowo ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 6,200 inhabitants.
The place belongs administratively to Rajon Slovianoserbsk that Rajonszentrum Slovianoserbsk located 16 kilometers north and Oblasthauptstadt Luhansk located 21 kilometers east of the village. For the same settlement council municipality also belong the villages Howorucha ( Говоруха ) Samostja ( Замостя ), of Krasnyi Luch ( Красний Луч ) Nowodatschne ( Новодачне ) and Suchodil ( Суходіл ).
Rodakowe was founded in the 1880s as a station settlement for the railway line, which was inaugurated in 1878, and was given the status of an urban-type settlement in 1938. Since the summer of 2014, the town has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine . The two railway lines Yasynuwata – Millerowo and Siversk – Lichaya meet in the village .
